Sara is a full-time research specialist and lab manager in the Pelegri Lab. She has previously worked in the lab as an undergraduate researcher. Sara works on projects that span both major areas of emphasis in our lab, but has a particular interest in avian conservation.

Sara also serves as the lab’s outreach specialist, conducting Genetics laboratory tours for prospective University of Wisconsin students. Additionally, she fulfills the role of morale officer, organizing celebrations for birthdays with homemade treats and decorating the lab for various holidays.
